USA – HubSpot, a Cambridge, Massachusetts-based customer relationship management (CRM) platform for scaling companies, is to acquire The Hustle, a media company that produces a newsletter, podcast, and premium research content.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed. The acquisition will give HubSpot the opportunity to offer its community of scaling companies content across a broader range of topics and a more diverse set of media.Led by Sam Parr, founder, The Hustle provides a daily email to more than 1.5 million readers who are informed with topical stories and perspectives, distilling complex business stories into entertaining news items. The Hustle’s subscription platform, Trends, and podcast, My First Million, give entrepreneurs insights, data, and best practices to help scale their companies.HubSpot is a customer relationship management (CRM) platform which includes marketing, sales, service, and website management products that start free and scale to meet our customers’ needs at any stage of growth. Today, more than 95,000 customers across more than 120 countries use its tools and integrations to attract, engage, and delight customers.The company has built a large community around its educational content, with seven million people each month reading the company’s blogs and hundreds of thousands viewing videos on YouTube.
