USA – Fabric, a Bellevue, Wash.-based headless commerce platform, raised $43m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Norwest Venture Partners, with participation from Redpoint Ventures and Sierra Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Scott Beechuk, partner at Norwest Venture Partners, will join the board of directors.The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development of its headless commerce platform, expand the team and meet the demand for its commerce technology, and recruit top talent.Led by Faisal Masud, CEO, Fabric provides an API-driven, modular system, for D2C and B2B brands to scale. With Fabric, marketers and merchants can execute on creative decisions, without pulling in extensive engineering resources. Companies can utilize either the entire suite or incorporate specific tools into their existing system, including an Experience Manager (XM), Product Information Manager (PIM) and Order Management System (OMS). Following the launch of its cloud-native experience and commerce product suite in October 2020, with this latest round, Fabric is focused on expanding its product offerings, accelerating retailer onboarding and workflow, continuing to meet the needs of retailers and eliminating the need for replatforming. 09/02/2021
