OnlineMedEd Raises $20M in Funding

USA – OnlineMedEd, an Austin, TX-based healthcare training company, raisedd $20m in funding.

The round was led by Lumos Capital Group.The company intends to use the funds to expand existing programs to health care professionals around the world.Founded in 2014 by Jamie Fitch, CEO, OnlineMedEd is a digital healthcare learning platform used by aspiring physicians and healthcare professionals to gain the knowledge needed in everyday practice. Used by over 300,000 learners in 193 countries, the learning platform is built around a proven four-step process that includes priming with written material, acquiring knowledge through video, challenging concepts through questions and cases, and enforcing it through flashcards with spaced repetition.
