USA – Liveblocks, a real-time collaboration startup, raised $5M in seed funding.
The round was led by Boldstart, with participation from Atlassian, Kima Ventures, Seedcamp and more.The company is using the funds to continue investing in product development, build its team across engineering, design, marketing and HR.Launched in 2021 by Guillaume Salles and Steven Fabre, Liveblocks is a set of APIs and tools that helps users create collaborative experiences.Since the company announced its pre-seed in September, the number of accounts has doubled, and connections – when a user connects to a Liveblocks room – have increased by more than 10x in the last three months.Liveblocks is completely distributed with employees in Europe and North America, but the company is incorporated in Delaware. 21/03/2022
