KoRo, a Berlin, Germany-based ecommerce startup for the grocery industry, raised €50m in funding. The round was led by HV Capital, with participation from Five Seasons Ventures and Partech.The company intends to use the funds to expand the product portfolio, to develop new marketing channels and to further grow the team and the business internationally. Founded in Berlin in 2014 and led by CEO Constantinos Calios, KoRo is an ecommerce platform that aims to create transparent supply chains by sourcing ingredients directly from the producers to make food available to customers at transparent and lower prices and save plastic. The company, which offers nuts, drinks, snacks, supplements, and cooking and baking products, operates in 16 countries across Europe.29/03/2022
