tvScientific Raises $20M in Series A Funding

USA – tvScientific, a Pasadena, CA-based provider of a performance advertising platform built for the connected TV (CTV), raised $20M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Norwest Venture Partners, with participation from NBCUniversal and Hearst Ventures. The company intends to use the funds to grow its customer base, hire for key roles in engineering, product, data science, marketing, sales and other departments, and continue innovating the product. 

Founded by Bill Gross, Jason Fairchild, Kent Wakeford, and David Koye, tvScientific provides a performance advertising platform to make TV advertising accessible and measurable for brands and apps of all sizes. The company’s self-managed solution is custom built for performance marketers, that simplifies and automates TV buying and optimization, leveraging massive data to prove the actual value of TV advertising.
