USA – Airplane, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an internal tool development platform, raised $32M in Series B funding.
The round was led by Thrive Capital with return participation from Benchmark, as well as Segment co-founder Calvin French-Owen, Confluent co-founder Neha Narkhede, former GitHub CEO Nat Friedman, Vercel CEO Guillermo Rauch, Airtable co-founders Howie Liu and Andrew Ofstad, Allison Pickens from The New Normal Fund, Behance founder Scott Belsky, Jaren Glover, Gokul Rajaram, Liu Jiang, Comma Capital, and several others. The company plans to use the funds to continue to update and expand the platform to help run all internal business systems and continue to grow its team.Led by Ravi Parikh, Founder, Airplane provides a software-as-a-service dev platform. The company has just released Airplane Views – an update which lets users build full-featured UIs for internal tools. Combined with what Airplane can already do, this new feature will let the system serve as a complete, developer-focused platform for building internal tools. Since its last funding round, the company has doubled the size of its team and has reached more than 200 teams using the product, ranging from small startups to enterprise customers. 30/09/2022
