Adept, a San Francisco, CA-based general intelligence company, raised $350M in Series B funding.
The round, which was completed at a post-money valuation of approx. $1 billion, was led by General Catalyst and co-led by Spark Capital, with additional participation from existing investors, new financial partners, and some of the most iconic companies in tech.The company intends to use the funds to launch its initial products, train models, and onboard additional talent.Co-founded by David Luan and Kelsey Szot, Adept is an ML research and product lab building general intelligence by enabling humans and computers to work together creatively. Since announcing their Series A about a year ago, the company introduced ACT-1, its first large model for actions, which can take complex user requests across a range of software tools and execute them, even coordinating across multiple tools when needed. 15/03/2023
