AUSTRIA – Finmatics, a Vienna, Austria and Berlin, Germany-based provider of software for digitizing and automating accounting processes, raised €6M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Mangrove Capital Partners and eQventure.The company intends to use the funds to further growth in Germany and expand the team at the Vienna and Berlin locations, as well as for product development.Led by CEO Christoph Prieler, Finmatics digitizes and automates accounting processes with the help of AI-supported software. By using the software, the time in accounting and document processing can be saved and existing resources can thus be used more efficiently. The majority of the so-called “Big Four” such as KPMG are among Finmatics’ customers – including more than 900 law firms and 50,000 companies. In the past 12 months, The company, which was able to increase its total turnover by more than 300% yoy, wants to hire up to 20 employees in Berlin this year.20/03/2023
