USA – Legit Security, a Palo Alto, CA-based cyber security company, raised $40M in Series B funding.
The round was led by CRV with participation from existing investors Cyberstarts, Bessemer Venture Partners, and TCV. The company intends to use the funds to expand sales, marketing and R&D, addressing the emerging threat of Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models (LLMs) in the development of new applications. Led by CEO Roni Fuchs, Legit Security provides an application security posture management platform that secures application delivery from code to cloud and protects an organization’s software supply chain from attacks. The platform provides real-time visibility and security control across changing development environments and provides a unified application security control plane that consolidates vulnerabilities from different sources, enforces security policies, and prioritizes risk to help focus on what’s most important. Security teams uses it to identify security gaps in real-time and leverage unparalleled context to streamline developer collaboration and remediation, enabling application security to be more efficient, effective and productive. The customer growth includes a roster of prominent enterprise brands such as Google, NYSE, Kraft Heinz and Takeda Pharmaceuticals. 20/09/2023
