GERMANY – Taxfix, a Berlin, Germany-based tax management app provider, raised $65M in Series C funding round.
The round was led by Index Ventures with participation from Valar Ventures, Creandum and Redalpine. The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations, development efforts and its business reach. Co-founded by Lino Teuteberg and Mathis Büchi, Taxfix provides an app for users to collect and manage tax. Since its launch, the company has helped collect €270m for users. The company is currently processing around two million euros of refund a day, and its revenues have more than tripled in the past 12 months. Taxfix has a team of 200 people and plan to add another 100 people, expand its operations in Europe and offer additional tailored financial services, such as helping users with investments, credit and other kinds of financial products. 16/04/2020
