USA – Medici, a NYC-based virtual healthcare company, completed a 24m Series B financing round.
Backers included Barry Sternlicht, Chairman of Starwood Capital Group, Howard Jenkins, founder of Publix, Kenneth Griffin, CEO of Citadel and Nathan Kirsh, head of Jethro. The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its growth. Founded in 2016 and led by Clint Phillips, CEO, Medici offers a HIPAA-compliant virtual healthcare platform for over 20,000 healthcare providers and their patients to securely communicate via text, voice and video chat, from anywhere at any time. It allows clinicians to extend care and get paid without extra overhead or administrative burdens. 27/04/2020
