USA – Dumpling, a Seattle and Berkeley-based company that empowers individuals to launch, run and grow independent grocery shopping and delivery businesses, raised $6.5m in Series A funding.
The round, which brings the company’s total raise to $10m, was led by Forerunner Ventures with participation from existing investors Floodgate and FUEL Capital. The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach. Led by Joel Shapiro, co-founder and co-CEO, and Nate D’Anna, co-founder and co-CEO, Dumpling empowers individuals to launch, run and grow independent grocery shopping and delivery businesses. The company powers more than 2,000 grocery shopping and delivery business owners in all 50 states, providing the tools, technology, and business support for individuals. 18/06/2020
