USA – Cape Privacy, a New York City-based privacy platform for collaborative data science and machine learning, secured $5m in seed funding.
The round was co-led by boldstart ventures and Version One with participation from Haystack, Radical, and Faktory Ventures. The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach. Led by Ché Wijesinghe, CEO, and Gavin Uhma Co-Founder/CTO, Cape Privacy provides enterprise companies with a SaaS collaboration platform on top of advanced privacy and security technology to maximize the value of their data. It allows businesses to collaborate internally (e.g. risk, legal, compliance divisions in a bank) or with third-party vendors (e.g. an agency or outside law firm) and across organizations (even competitors such as major pharmaceutical firms) by enhancing the privacy of data. The software integrates into a customer’s existing data science and machine learning infrastructure to provide a collaborative workflow that guides cross functional contributors to work together on projects and policies. 24/06/2020
