FRANCE – Ubble, a Paris, France-based biometric identification startup, raised €10m (approx. $11.3m) in funding.
Backers included Partech and Breega. The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach. Founded in 2018 by Nicolas Debernardi and Juliette Delanoe, ubble aims to fight identity fraud on the Internet by using artificial intelligence and video streaming technologies. The user is prompted to capture a live video of his face and ID documentation. The recordings are then analyzed in real time by algorithms that assess the authenticity of the document and its correspondence with the user’s face. Their conclusions are then validated by ubble’s anti-fraud experts. Bpifrance recently decided to integrate its solution into its user path. 26/06/2020
