Cala Raises $3M in Funding

USA – Cala, a New York-based provider of a retail platform for influencers to launch fashion brands, raised $3m in seed funding.

The round was led by Maersk Growth and Real Ventures. The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand engineering and product operations and its business reach. Led by CEO Andrew Wyatt, Cala provides a retail infrastructure for influencers to design and launch their own fashion brands. The platform provides design assistance, material sourcing, sampling and such features as in-app notifications, task management, and real-time commenting to help users maximize productivity in the studio or on the go. 10/07/2020
