USA – JumpCloud, a Denver, CO-based cloud solution to control and manage employee identities and their devices, raised $75m in Series E funding.
The round was led by funds managed by BlackRock with participation from existing investor General Atlantic. The company, which has now raised over $165m, intends to use the funds to expand product development, marketing and sales globally with plans to hire an additional 500 people over the next several years.Led by Rajat Bhargava, CEO and co-founder, JumpCloud provides a cloud based platform that enables IT, security operations, and DevOps, to secure access to corporate technology resources, including cloud apps, Windows, Mac, and Linux systems, from any device, or any location. The company is now used by more than 100,000 organizations spanning over 100 countries, with more than 3,000 paying customers including Cars.com, GoFundMe, ClassPass, Nimbus Therapeutics, Grab, Pulselive, SlimPay, Foursquare, Beyond Finance, and Funding Societies. 10/11/2020
