Main backers included Underscore VC, and Long Journey Ventures. The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach. Founded and led by Northeastern University senior Keith Corso, BusRight provides a cloud-based digital school bus route planning and management solution which aims to upgrade the nation’s school bus fleet. Using the system, drivers get real-time turn-by-turn directions, which accurately mobilize students to and from school each day. If buses are ever delayed, all parents and school administrators are notified at the touch of a button.BusRight currently operates in five states, with customers across the school bus transportation industry including charter schools, in-house transportation, bus companies, electric school bus fleets, and special education transportation.
