Brave Care Raises $10M in Series A Funding

USA – Brave Care, a Portland, Oregon-based modern pediatric healthcare company, raised $10M in Series A funding.

The round was led by City Light Capital, with participation from AV8, Interplay, Founders Co-op, Refactor, Learn Capital and other value-aligned investors like Gaingels.The company intends to use the funds to open more clinics in new states, and enhance its complete care technology.Led by founders Dr. Corey Fish, Darius Monsef, Maryam Taheri and Asa Miller, Brave Care gives parents access to care for children through its comprehensive model, including: remote care available 24/7 through its Parent App, primary and urgent care clinics open from 10am-10pm 365 days a year, and on-site pharmacies. The company operates two primary and urgent care clinics in Portland, OR and will use the funding to expand its empathy-fueled, research-driven care to Beaverton, OR, Austin, TX, and North Carolina later this year. It will also continue to enhance its provider-first technology, giving clinicians more time to focus on parents and kids during visits.To support its 2021 expansion efforts in Beaverton, OR, Austin, TX and North Carolina the company will hire 100 employees over the next 9 months.23/04/2021
