Transcarent Raises $200M in Series C Funding

USA – Transcarent, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based health and care experience company, raised $200m in Series C funding.

The round, which brings total funding raised to date to $298m, was led by Kinnevik and Human Capital, with participation from Ally Bridge Group and health systems including Northwell Health, Intermountain Healthcare, and Rush University Medical Center, as well as existing investors, General Catalyst, 7wireVentures, Alta Partners, Merck Global Health Innovation Fund, Jove Equity Partners, Threshold Ventures, and GreatPoint Ventures. The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach. Led by Glen Tullman, Chief Executive Officer, Transcarent is a health and care experience company for employees of self-insured employers and their families.
