USA – Atmosic, a Campbell, Calif.-based world leader in energy harvesting wireless platforms for the Internet of Things (IoT), raised $72m in funding.
The round was led by Sutter Hill Ventures. Atmosic is also launching its new ATM33 Series Bluetooth® 5.3 family of system-on-chips (SoCs) which leverage energy harvesting technology to offer energy efficiency and remove the cost and waste of replacing batteries frequently in connected products.The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and business reach with the introduction of the ATM33 series.Led by David Su, CEO, Atmosic is an innovative fabless semiconductor company, designing ultra-low power wireless and energy harvesting solutions to reduce device dependency on batteries, aiming to deliver forever battery life and the battery free connected Internet of Things.
