USA – CodeSee, a San Francisco CA-based provider of a solution for continuous understanding of codebases, raised $7M in funding.
The add-on seed funding was led by new investors Wellington Access Ventures, Plexo Capital, and existing investors with participation from angel investors Adam Gross (former CEO of Heroku) and Window Snyder (former Chief Security Officer of Square, Intel and Fastly), among many others. The company intends to use the funds to build and launch new Maps features to address surging customer demand and expand its enterprise and teams offering.Led by Shanea Leven, CEO, CodeSee provides interactive code diagrams for developers and teams to share codebase knowledge easily. Since its release in 2021, the company has seen seen thousands of active users. CodeSee is also backed by boldstart ventures, Uncork Capital, Menlo Ventures, Precursor Ventures and Salesforce Ventures, among others.25/01/2022
