ISRAEL – Ridge, a Boston, MA and Tel Aviv, Israel-based global cloud services provider, raised $22M in early-stage funding.
The round was led by NFX with participation from Mayfield, Slow Ventures, and Viola.The company intends to use the funds to boost global cloud deployments.Led by Mati Lerner, co-CEO, Nir Sheffi, co-CEO and CTO, and Executive Chairman Jonathan Seelig, Ridge is a cloud provider that enables businesses to deploy cloud-based applications on any infrastructure and in any location worldwide, including previously underserved ones. The cloud is built upon existing infrastructure in hundreds of data centers across the globe. Many of the world’s leading data centers have already partnered with Ridge, including T-Systems, NTT, and INAP. Data centers can add the company’s public cloud services without needing the expertise to run the services themselves.Using Ridge’s managed web services — Kubernetes, containers, and object storage — developers enjoy public cloud agility together with performance, throughput, and data control of localized infrastructure. 26/01/2022
