USA – Passage, an Austin TX-based passwordless identity space company, raised $4M in funding.
The round was led by LiveOak Venture Partners with participation from Next Coast Ventures, Tau Ventures and Secure Octane, and various angel investors.Led by Cole Hecht, CEO, and Anna Pobletts, CTO, Passage enables web and mobile developers to replace passwords with biometrics for optimal security and an easier user experience. The platform, just launched in public beta, enables users to log in to web applications with Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, and other biometrics built into their devices. The company intends to use the funds to launch additional authentication methods, extensibility features, mobile support, and guides, as well as to expand its team.01/02/2022
