USA – Virtual Peaker, a Lousville KY-based cloud-based company that provides modern utilities with a distributed energy platform, raised $16.6M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Louis Bacon’s Moore Strategic Ventures with participation from Emerson Ventures.The company intends to use he funds to boost its product development, marketing, sales, and other functions.Led by CEO William (Bill) Burke, Virtual Peaker is a cloud-based distributed energy platform whose suites for utilities to manage their distributed energy resources (DERs), including rooftop solar, wind, residential battery storage, and electric vehicles (EVs). The company is expanding its platform to include Customer Engagement and Forecasting suites of products in addition to its DERMS suite.Virtual Peaker currently employs about 40 people in various locations across the country. 20/02/2022
