USA – BastionZero (dba CommonWealth Crypto), a Boston, MA-based cybersecurity company building the future of infrastructure remote access, raised $6m in seed funding.
The round was led by Dell Technologies Capital, with participation from Akamai and DG Lab Fund (Japan).Founded by Sharon Goldberg, PhD. and Ethan Heilman, PhD, BastionZero is a cloud service that controls remote access to the infrastructure targets that backend and cloud engineering teams use to build and host their software services (e.g. servers, kubernetes clusters, databases, internal web applications).BastionZero is a cloud service that autodiscovers targets, automatically integrates with a SSO provider, and logs and monitors remote access by users or their scripts. The product is currently used to protect production infrastructure at multiple organizations.The company intends to use the funds to continue building the features of the platform to ease and automate the rollout of the tool across cloud teams and different types of infrastructure targets.02/03/2022
