USA – Commsor, a NYC-based provider of software, education, and resources for community-led companies, raised a $50m Community-Led Series B funding round.
The round, anchored by Atomico, saw participation from Slack Fund, 776, SignalFire, Felicis, and a community of 150+ individual investors, including Holly Firestone, Erica Kuhl, Tristan Pollock, and Shana Sumers, as well as dynamic founders, including Vlad Magdalin (Webflow), Gina Bianchini (MightyNetworks), Des Traynor (Intercom), Zach Sims (Codecademy), and Mariano Suarez-Battan (MURAL), Darren Murph (Gitlab), Julie Herendeen, and Casey Neistat. As part of this round, Carter Adamson, Partner at Atomico, joined the board. Earlier investors included Elad Gil, Mathilde Collin, Jono Bacon, Tod Sacerdoti, Josh Buckley, and Lachy Groom.The company intends to use the funds to expand the team and further develop and refine the tools and programs. Led by Mac Reddin, Co-Founder and CEO, Commsor provides the Community Operating System, which allows companies to tie their community ecosystems together to measure and drive impact, and Meetsy, which enables communities and internal teams to facilitate meaningful one-to-one connections.
