UK – Konfir, a London, UK-based B2B SaaS platform that provides instant employment and income verifications, raised a £1.6m in pre-seed funding.
The round was led by Triple Point Ventures, with participation from UK tech angels, including Michael Pennnington, co-founder of Gumtree, Duncan Tatton-Brown who has sat on the board’s of Zoopla, Trainline and Loveholidays, along with executives from Stripe.The company intends to use the funds to further its engineering, product and go-to market capabilities while also launch with some of Europe’s largest background checking providers. Led by founder Chris Milligan, Konfir provides an employment verification platform, which removes the administrative burden companies face when requesting or completing employment verifications, which are required in various consumer life events such as moving jobs or homes.16/03/2022
