GERMANY – Staffbase, a Chemnitz, Germany-based provider of employee communications management solutions, raised $115M in Series E funding.
The round was led by General Atlantic with participation from Insight Partners.The company intends to use the funds to to further invest in expanding its platform, working to complete its full integration of all solutions with Microsoft 365®, further accelerate growth and scale internationally, and strengthen its global leadership in the internal communications space.Led by CEO Dr. Martin Böhringer, Staffbase provides enterprise customers with a comprehensive employee communications platform that enables them to connect with their employees. The company’s solutions are currently used by over 2,000 enterprises worldwide, including Adidas, Audi, Paulaner, Spark Power, UC Health, US LBM, and Vestas, impacting the work experiences of over 13 million employees. In 2021, the company raised a $145m Series D led by General Atlantic (March), merged with Canada-based Bananatag, a provider of email based internal communications solutions (March), acquired Valo Solutions, a provider of intranet and workplace solutions for Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams (November). Staffbase currently has nearly 600 employees across 14 global offices in Chemnitz, Amsterdam, Berlin, Calgary, Cologne, Dresden, Helsinki, Kelowna, London, Melbourne, Montreal, Munich, New York City, and Vancouver.16/03/2022
