USA – Antimatter, an Oakland, CA-based provider of data security for SaaS applications, raised $12M in Series A funding.
The round was led by NEA with participation from General Catalyst, UNION Labs, and the founders of Snowflake, Okta, Dropbox, VMware, Segment, and Databricks.The company intends to use the funds to add to its engineering team and continue development of its full-scale infrastructure solution.
Founded in 2020 by Andrew Krioukov, Michael Andersen, and Beau Trincia, Antimatter s a cryptographic infrastructure service enabling B2B SaaS companies to guarantee the security of their customers’ data, solving the challenges of data security and privacy requirements without requiring any changes to code.The company will have an initial focus on helping SaaS teams meet enterprise customers’ security requirements for specific regions, customer-specific servers, and restricted employee access. Early access to the company’s beta solution is being offered to a select group of design partners.01/04/2022
