INDIA – Fitmint, a Bengaluru, India-based Move-to-Earn startup, raised $1.6M in Seed funding.
The round was led by General Catalyst, with participation from iSeed, Kearny Jackson, Dweb3 and 1947 Rise.The company intends to use the funds for hiring and team expansion, for growth of its marketing efforts, and for optimizing tech infrastructure.
Led by Rohit Sharma and Viren Baid, Fitmint is a Move-to-Earn startup which provides a web3 app where users can earn rewards in cryptocurrency just by walking, running or working out. The startup is targeting to generate US$ 12-15M revenue by end of the current fiscal year, i.e. FY 2022-23. With over 100K+ members on Twitter and Discord coming from over 50 countries across the globe, 85 percent of its total users come to the app and burn calories every day.29/06/2022
