USA – SubjectWell, an Austin, TX-based provider of an engagement platform matching patients with chronic health conditions, raised $35M in Series B funding.
The round was led by Asset Management Ventures, with participation from Bertelsmann Investments, Healthy Ventures, Windham Venture Partners. Prior-round investors included Healthy Ventures, Windham Venture Partners, and Geekdom Fund.The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the growth its existing clinical trial patient recruitment efforts, expand its support of cancer research, and fund production of its awareness initiatives for post-approval treatments. Led by Ivor Clarke, SubjectWell is an audience engagement platform for healthcare, which now partners with 16 of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies. Earlier this year, the company leveraged its expanding patient reach to begin recruiting for non-small cell lung cancer studies and has since added support for breast cancer trials. SubjectWell launched an offering that allows pharmaceutical companies to raise awareness and engagement of their post-approval treatments with verified patients.20/10/2022
