UK – eTEU, a London, UK-based provider of a shipping document digitisation platform, raised a six-figure Pre-Seed funding.
The round was led by Jenson Funding Partners alongside Larix Equity, Pinto Ventures, and angel investors including Nils Wemhoener, and Joao Monteiro.The company intends to use the funds for the commercial product launch of its electronic Bill of Lading (eBL) – a document of title for the cargo – and extend this service to both shipping and freight forwarding companies.Founded in in 2020 by Eduard Oboimov, Mykhaylo Lepekha, Valentyn Kutateladze and Kristian Volohhonski, eTEU is a startup which works on optimisation and digitalisation of documentation processes in international trade. The company connects members of the international supply chain to the single blockchain based platform, digitalising shipping documentation and automating repetitive bureaucracies involved in organising the international shipment. Its platform aims to solve these pain points by issuing a digital version of the Bill of Lading on the blockchain.
