GERMANY – SHS Capital, a Tübingen, Germany-based healthcare investment firm, closed its sixth fund generation, at approx. €270m.
Amongst the investors of SHS VI are fund of funds, insurance companies, pension funds, foundations, family offices, banks, healthcare corporates, church investors, and entrepreneurs. Furthermore, the SHS investment team itself has invested significantly.The new fund aims to make from ten to fifteen investments in the form of both majority and minority positions in growing European healthcare companies. Led by Managing Partners Manfred Ulmer-Weber, and Sascha Alilovic, SHS only invests in companies already generating significant revenues, are on a growth path and aim to become European healthcare champions. The firm can support this through its large network in the healthcare sector, its industry experience, and extensive market knowledge. The investment amount is €10m to €40m. Together with LPs and other investors, transaction values up to €150m can be realized. Since the first closing of the fund last summer, four investments have already been made from the new fund. 13/09/2023
