FRANCE – L’école AI, a Paris, France-based creator of machine teaching technology that removes the engineering complexity around systems for computer vision, raised USD3M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Sofinnova Partners with participation from Preston-Werner Ventures, the fund started by co-founder and former CEO of GitHub, Nicolas Pinto, head of Deep Learning at Apple, and Clément Delangue, Co-Founder and CEO at Hugging Face. The company intends to use the funds to develop its proprietary technology, which will be rolled out to medical professionals and researchers, enabling them to create bespoke AI systems to assist in their area of expertise. In addition, the financing will accelerate the expansion of the team, accelerate product development and structure business efforts. Co-founded by CEO Jonathan Alexander Brown, CTO Kim Nilsson, and President Louis-Alexandre Etezad-Heydari, l’école AI provides ÉO, a platform that empowers individuals to leverages AI to initially assist medical professionals and acclerate life sciences through computer vision. The company has developed a user-friendly interface — a UI on AI.
