GERMANY – Aleph Alpha, a Heidelberg, Germany-based leader in the field of explainable and trustworthy AI, raised more than US Dollars 500m in Series B financing round.
The round was led by the Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence (Ipai), Bosch Ventures and the companies of Schwarz Group. Other new investors include Christ&Company Consulting, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and SAP, as well as Burda Principal Investments. Existing institutional investors participate in addition, completing the oversubscribed round.The funding will be invested in research on foundation models, advanced product capabilities especially for business-critical environments plus commercialization with selected key partners. Led by Jonas Andrulis, CEO and founder, Aleph Alpha aims to research and build the foundational technology for the AI era. The team of international scientists, engineers, and innovators researches, develops, and deploys transformative AI like large language and multimodal models and runs the fastest European commercial AI cluster.
