USA – NineDot Energy, a NYC-based developer of community-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS), raised $225M in Equity financing.
The round saw participation from Manulife Investment Management, as well as Carlyle (NASDAQ: CG).The company intends to use the funds for its continued growth and pipeline execution.Led by CEO David Arfin, NineDot Energy is a community-scale, battery storage developer and operator in the New York City metropolitan region. It creates innovative urban energy solutions that support a more resilient grid, deliver economic savings, reduce carbon emissions, and improve environmental equity.
