GERMANY – Membion, a Roetgen, Germany-based wastewater recycling company, raised €5M in funding.
The amount was led by TechVision Fonds (TVF) and DeepTech & Climate Fonds.The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.Founded by CEO Dr. Klaus Vossenkaul and Dirk Volmering, Membion is a membrane manufacturer and specialist for membrane bioreactors (MBR), i.e. for wastewater treatment plants with membrane technology. With Membion, the founders have further developed the technology, achieving significant operational and plant engineering advantages that will lead to a quantum leap in the economic efficiency of the MBR process and accelerate the implementation of the technology. 18/01/2024
