GERMANY – BlueLayer, a Berlin, Germany-based provider of a carbon project development platform, raised €9.2m in seed and pre-seed funding rounds.
The round was led by Point Nine. The company plans to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts. Led by Alexander Argyros, CEO, and Vivian Bertseka, COO and Head of Climate, BlueLayer provides end-to-end software platform for carbon project developers globally to scale and drive value in their business. The system enables developers to maximise their carbon revenues, digitise their workflows, streamline carbon credit management, and facilitate certification. The company works with developers of all stages and throughout the entire project lifecycle, from the pre-feasibility stage to the issuance of credits, the tracking of inventory, and management of orders. The software helps clients operate a wide range of projects, from reforestation, forest conservation and peatland restoration to frontier solutions like direct air capture and enhanced rock weathering.The company has offices in Berlin, London, UK, and Athens, Greece. 31/01/2024
