GERMANY – Embea, a Berlin, Germany-based provider of an embedded life insurance platform, raised €4M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Atlantic Labs, with participation from Jamie Hale, Daniel Khachab, and Michael Cassau.The company intends to use the funds to expand its pan-European platform and add new insurance products to its portfolio. Led by CEO Dr Johannes Becher, CPO Dmitry Muzhikov, and COO Leopold Jedina, Embea is an embedded insurance company that enables digital banks and other fintechs to enhance their platforms by offering life insurance and creating an additional revenue stream. Integration is completed within days, thanks to a customizable, no-code embedded checkout technology.
