USA – Titan, a New York-based technology company building an operating system for active investment management, raised $12.5m in Series A funding.
The round, which brought total funding to $16m, was led by General Catalyst with participation from Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary’s Sound Ventures, Scribble VC, BoxGroup, Y Combinator, South Park Commons, Instagram founder Mike Krieger, Lee Fixel, Kevin Hartz, Josh Reeves, and others. In conjunction with the funding, General Catalyst’s Katherine Boyle will join Titan’s board.The company intends to use the funds to scale its engineering and investment team along with making investments in product, marketing, and operations launching several investment products across asset classes. Led by Joe Percoco and Clay Gardner, Titan is building an operating system for investment management. It offers an elite capital management platform for both accredited and unaccredited investors, all inside their mobile app. 17/02/2021
