USA – Kinta AI, a San Francisco, CA-based manufacturing digitization startup, raised $5.5M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Lachy Groom’s LGF and Mo Koyfman’s Shine Capital. The company intends to use the funds to scale out factory implementations across existing top general industrial clients as well as deploy at a series of new manufacturing firms.Founded in November 2017 by CEO Steven Glinert, Kinta is an AI-powered platform for planning factory operations, to coordinate materials, labor, and machines to fulfill orders on time.The software ingests the data and leverages algorithms to generate actionable plans that allow factory managers real-time control and coordination of factory resources.
