AUSTRALIA – Kasada, a NYC and Sidney, Australia-based bot mitigation company, raised $23m in Series C funding.
The round was led by new investor StepStone Group (which recently acquired venture capital platform Greenspring Associates), with participation from existing investors Ten Eleven Ventures, Main Sequence Ventures, Reinventure (Westpac’s venture capital arm), Our Innovation Fund, and Turnbull & Partners. The company intends to use the funds to continue to further accelerate its sales in the U.S., and grow its development, support, and marketing departments. Led by Sam Crowther, founder and CEO, Kasada provides a platform to defend against advanced persistent bot attacks across web, mobile, and API channels. The solution invisibly stops automated threats while empowering enterprises with optimal online activity. Kasada now protects more than $20 billion in eCommerce annually and stops over 5 billion monthly requests left undetected by legacy systems. The company also has offices in Melbourne, San Francisco, and London.06/12/2021
