ButterflyMX Raises $50M in Series D Funding

USA – ButterflyMX, a NYC-based creator of access control technology for multifamily, commercial, and student housing properties, closed a $50m growth equity funding.

The round was led by JMI Equity, with participation from Volition Capital, Egis Capital, and RiverPark Ventures. The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.Led by Aaron Rudenstine, CEO, ButterflyMX is the creator of smart video intercoms, package rooms, keypads, elevator controls, key lockers, and other access control technology for multifamily, commercial, and student housing properties to enable building owners, managers, residents, and visitors to open any door or gate from a smartphone.These devices are managed through the ButterflyMX OS, an online platform where property administrators can adjust access permissions, view entry photos, and integrate dozens of other technology solutions such as property management systems, security cameras, and other access control devices.07/12/2021
