USA – Coin Metrics, a Boston, MA-based provider of crypto financial intelligence, raised $35m in Series C financing.
The round was led by Acrew Capital and BNY Mellon with participation from Goldman Sachs, Fidelity Investments, Highland Capital Partners, Avon Ventures and Morningside Technology Ventures, and new investors Cboe Global Markets, JAM FINTOP Blockchain, Mubadala Investment Company and Brevan Howard Digital. The company intends to use the funds for new product innovation and expansion into adjacent spaces.Led by Tim Rice, co-founder and CEO, Coin Metrics provides network data, market data, indexes and network risk solutions to the most prestigious institutions touching cryptoassets. It now offers a comprehensive suite of services – including on-chain data, a universal block explorer, market data and metrics, indexes and network risk management.Following the completion of its $15 million Series B in 2021, the company received SOC 2 Type 1 accreditation from Deloitte. 07/04/2022
