USA – Harness, a San Francisco, CA-based software delivery platform provider, raised $230M in Series D funding at a USD3.7 billion valuation.
The round, which includes $175m in equity and $55m in debt financing, was led by Norwest Venture Partners with participation from J.P. Morgan, Capital One Ventures, Splunk Ventures, Adage Capital Partners, Balyasny Asset Management, Gaingels, Harmonic Growth Partners, ServiceNow, Menlo Ventures, IVP, Unusual Ventures, Citi Ventures, Battery Ventures, Alkeon Capital, GV, Sorenson Capital, Thomvest Ventures and Silicon Valley Bank.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow its talent and further expand platform.
Led by CEO Jyoti Bansal, Harness provides developers with a software delivery platform that uses machine learning to detect the quality of deployments and automatically roll back failed ones, saving time and reducing the need for custom scripting and manual oversight.
