USA – Trinsic, a Salt Lake City, UT-based provider of infrastructure for building user-controlled identity products, raised $8.5M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Georgian with participation from Jon Gelsey, Frederic Kerrest, Kickstart Seed Fund, Osage Venture Partners, and Forward VC.The company intends to use the funds to expand its team (accepting applicants in engineering, product, sales, and developer relations) and accelerate its vision to make digital identity as widely adopted as credit cards. Led by CEO Riley Hughes, Trinsic is an infrastructure for developers building user-controlled identity products.
