USA – Pajarito Powder, an Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA-based hydrogen and fuel cell catalyst maker, raised a Series B funding round.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed. Bekaert (Euronext Brussels: BEKB), a global €5.9 billion wire and coating technologies company whose products include critical subcomponents for electrolyzers, which derive green hydrogen from water, made the investment joining Hyundai Motor Company, Verge Fund, Omphalos Venture Partners and other private investors.The company intends to use the funds to improve the performance and cost-efficiency of fuel cell and electrolyzer stacks. Led by Chairman and CEO Thomas J. Stephensonsaid, Pajarito Powder is a world leader in the development and commercialization of advanced electrocatalysts for fuel cells and electrolyzers. The company manufactures a range of catalyst products using its own intellectual property as well as intellectual property licensed from the University of New Mexico Los Alamos National Laboratory, and Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique. 02/09/2022
