USA – DocSpera, a Sunnyvale, CA-based healthcare surgical data and image communication company, raised $10M in Series B funding.
The round was led by Pier 70 Ventures and JJDC, Inc., with participation of other key strategic investors.The company intends to use the funds to accelerate commercialization of its existing suite of products as well as to invest in scaling the engineering, customer success and commercial teams to support their continued expansion. Led by CEO Samuel Ethiopia, DocSpera is a healthcare technology company that provides health systems and medical device companies with an intelligent surgical planning platform from diagnosis to recovery. The solution addresses the challenges associated with the manual communication and care workflow between surgeons, health systems, and medical device suppliers by automating care coordination and streamlining information. DocSpera is currently integrated into 300+ health systems, provider practices and ASCs to deliver real-time surgical coordination between surgeons, care team and medical device companies.
