Summit Nanotech Raised $50M in Series A2 Funding

CANADA – Summit Nanotech Corporation, a Calgary, Canada-based company sustainably solving lithium supply chain challenges, raised $50M in Series A2 funding.

The round was led by Evok Innovations and Climate Tech Fund, with participation from Xora Innovation, Capricorn Investment Group, Volta Energy Technologies, NGP, Helios Climate Ventures, and The Grantham Foundation. The company intends to use the funds to expand the global resource-base and scale Canadian manufacturing capabilities. Led by CEO Amanda Hall, Summit Nanotech is a cleantech organization conserving natural resources and optimizing operations for lithium producers in Chile and Argentina through patented and sustainable direct lithium extraction (DLE) technology. The company currently operates a multi-client pilot project in Chile and is scaling their denaLiTM DLE technology. These funds build on a US$14 million Series A announced in early 2022, bringing the total funding since inception to US$72 million.  18/01/2023
